Power outages or camping

Post by Wen » Thu Feb 03, 2005 6:06 pm

Hi everyone,
When ever we loose power or go camping I use a 400 watt power converter. I plug it into my car ciggarette or power port and run a 50' extension cord into the house or tent. It runs my CPAP and a small reading light. Every morning I run the car for about 20 minutes to recharge the battery. This way I also don't need expensive conversion cables or a marine battery. Wen

Thanks for the post! I hadn't seen this before & I for one do not mind "repeat" posts! I don't have time to wade through hundreds of posts looking for what I need. If someone doesn't want to read a "repeat" post then they should just pass by it without making negative comments.
I am grateful for the information since I can't afford the expesive battery alternative, either.
Thanks!
