The best your learning algorithm can do is hit a golden mean for a saved profile.
Which would be way better than the current "start from scratch" every time the machine is turned on...

Ummmm? Me thinks the quotes got displaced a bit...
I was going to say... a golden mean would beat the heck out of 4 to 20... but if we had cool AI machines how would the docs and DMEs make their money? Lol

If it's so bad, how are you and I able to achieve AHI
< 1.0 nine nights out of ten?

Sigh... my phone is being silly and I'm not sure what's going on with the quotes so I'm going to get in my car and go home and not worry about it till later.

Because of careful tuning over an extended period of time. Duh.
Something the machine *could do* if it was smarter, after the doctor sends it out set to factory defaults.
Ps, my numbers are under 0.25 far more often than one out of ten.

Can it really be a hijacking if the ship sailed THREE YEARS AGO?
I'd think it'd be more of a salvage operation.

I just got my Aircurve 10 ASV for Christmas.
So they have 5 years to come up with Aircurve 11 ASV, 90 day after I get my next new machine.
I have had an interesting 6 months. I have seen several ZEROs. I have had nights in the 20s and everything in between. It seems a stuffed nose a runny nose and a leaky mask are the major culprits. I haven't taken the time to track down what I can do about it.

My current machine will be five years old this fall.
Since it is running fine, I will likely wait.
It will probably develop a problem *when needed*--or I can complain about "whatever" . . .

There isn't much difference in terms of performance or features when it comes to VPAP versus AirCurve 10 that I am aware of. The AirCurve series is more aesthetic and the front facing screen makes life easier though. The only different setting that I know of on the AirCurve 10 ST-A is that in iVAPS and ST modes you can set an iBR instead of a static backup rate. Whoop-de-doo.
