difference between Apex XT Auto and Resmed S9 Autoset

Have noticed the S9 is a well recieved machine and was wondering what the advantages there would be in having the S9 over the XT Auto, if any. I am asking both in regards to the machine itself and would also like a comparison between the Easy Compliance Software vs Sleepyhead.

Can there really be any real reason to consider the S9? And why? Can anybody guarantee that I would get better therapy than my XT Auto?

Thanks for the answers, I did spend a lot of time reading reviews on the main online suppliers. That's the main reason I got the Apex XT Auto along with the fact that at present I have no insurance so economics certainly played a major role in my choice. Next year I will be able to get Medicare so that may assist me in this area of healthcare.

Actually the S9 Autoset For Her is on the host site for $439 with humidifier included right now.
The Apex XT Auto with humidifier added would be $485.
Even without the humidifier, the Apex at $385 is only about $55 lower than the S9.
Another great choice is the PR System One Auto for $399 but no humidifier at that price.

Thanks, those are some pretty good prices. I got mine as a factory refurb with less than 2 months of use without humidifier for $225.

It is unclear what type of sleep data is available from this machine, though it looks to be only hours, AHI and Leak. Many of us would prefer more detailed data capability and would consider this machine a "brick", similar to the ResMed Escape line. The software "Easy Compliance" is available on apneaboard, but If the machine does not report detailed data, I'm not sure of it's usefulness. It is doubtful the machine is compatible with SleepyHead.
Further, it does not appear this machine is capable of differentiating between Obstructive and Central Sleep Apnea. The machine appears to more closely resembles the S8 line of ResMed machines rather than the S9. The S8's were good machines in their day, but their day has passed. Most of us would not pay $200 for an S8 Autoset today. My opinion.
