Provent Therapy?

Post by Lauperfan » Fri May 13, 2016 9:59 am

Has anyone had success with this? After trying several masks, I'm so beyond frustrated!! My technician recommended I try this new therapy http://www.proventtherapy.com, which was FDA approved and has successfully treated 72% of patients in clinical trials. NO mask and NO machine. Sounds great to me.

Anyone with experience?

If you type "provent" in the search line above, you will get 1100 post to read
If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!

Get the Clinicians manual here : http://apneaboard.com/adjust-cpap-press ... tup-manual

If your pressure really is 4 cm, I can understand your discomfort.
I would be feeling suffocated.

Gramps obtained a box of Provent, and we both tried them for naps. They were not effective for either of us.

Here is a two-part suggestion.

1. Start a thread asking for help with masks. Try to be as specific as possible about the problems you have had. Start with some info about your diagnosis - type of apnea and AHI for starters.

2. Learn to use Sleepyhead and post some charts. https://sleep.tnet.com/resources/sleepyhead - There are people here who will help you with this.

Froggy noticed your CPAP settings are 4 - 20 pressure range. This is the factory default setting. You might find things greatly improve if your setting is optimized. Sleepyhead and forum members will help in this process.

With a little tweaking, things may get better for you All Through the Night.
