Airsense 10 Autoset Issue
Hello all. I don't post a lot but I read all the time. I would post more if I felt I had the information to help people. Anyways, I have as the topic says an Airsense 10 Autoset. Yesterday morning I got up and just looked at the front to see what the machine had read the night before. It said I had only slept 34 or 35 mins and had 5.1 events per hour. Well I know I slept close to 8 hours with therapy the whole time. I have not uploaded the data to sleepyhead as of yet to see what it says (haven't had the time) but I will. I we just wanting to see if anyone else had experienced anything like this or if it is just me and is a one time problem. This morning it read just fine. So it seems like it was a one time thing. I just wanted to ask everyone. Thank you all in advance!

Re: Airsense 10 Autoset Issue
If you are getting up at different times, that could be a clue.
These machines roll over at noon, (or whenever "noon" is on your machine)
so any time logged after that noon is added to the following night's time,
instead of being added to the previous night.

Re: Airsense 10 Autoset Issue
I always get up around 8am so I don't think that was the issue. It has only happened the one time. I was just curious if anyone else had seen this. Thank you chunkyfrog because that would have been my first thought if I had read my post.

CaptainRaven40,
Have you checked the time setting on the Airsense 10 Autoset? Sometime the DME ignores setting the machine to the correct local time. Other times, they simply mis-set it.

Re: Airsense 10 Autoset Issue
My Airsense 10 Autoset did the EXACT same thing. Synced at 3:44 AM saying I had slept for 1 hour with 3.5 events per hour. I KNOW I slept closer to 8 hours.
My biggest peeve with that is that if it is the info my insurance will use to determine compliance I was almost at 30 days!
Maybe it was a server hiccup?

Re: Airsense 10 Autoset Issue
I have had this happen maybe 2 or 3 times in the year and couple months I've had my machine. I unplug and plug the machine back in and it's fine for a long time again. I'm out of my compliance tracking for insurance so I usually don't plug it into sleepy head to check but if I remember the first couple times, the SD card had the right data - just the screen wasn't reading correctly.
My experience with the insurance tracking was if I had a couple of days of non-compliance, they had some leniency. Good luck!

Re: Airsense 10 Autoset Issue
I have the same machine, and I see this often. The front read out will show a time way less than what I know I've slept. However, the MyAir report will accurately show the amount of sleep time. I check that report hours after getting up, usually at work. Sleepyhead will sometimes show a spot where maybe the mask was briefly off or off to go to the bathroom, but it doesn't always support that shortened amount of sleep time seen on the front of the machine. So, I ignore it. I think the DME sees something similar to the MyAir report...
