Acceptable central apneas?

Post by RM » Tue Jan 26, 2016 7:11 pm

Hi all,

Just started monitoring my cpap therapy. I get the AHI, but was wondering if there is an acceptable range of central apneas? I've gotten from 2 to 7 and one night 18. Also, I'm using a system one bipap with the dreammapper app.

Thanks,
RM

get sleepyhead, dreammapper is like a muddy puddle compared to a beautiful freshwater lake that is sleepyhead.

is that a total of 18, or an hourly average (ahi) of 18?

a few centrals aren't anything to worry about, long strings of them, double digit ahi, that bears investigating.
