Post by sleepwiggler » Fri Jan 15, 2016 6:06 pm

I thought I would try again I currently have an Aircurve 10 auto. I am looking for reasonably priced RESMED VPAP. I would like an S 9 auto. I know about cpap.com and secondwind.com.

If you're not part of the solution you're just scumming up the bottom of the beaker!

Get the Clinicians manual here : http://apneaboard.com/adjust-cpap-press ... tup-manual

Good idea, its always good to have a backup machine. Or two backup machines. I have four machines Ive accumulated. I only use two of them, mostly only use one of them. One insurance paid for, the other three I bought with a prescription from online.

Secondwind...never dealt with them. Never heard any complaints either. Since you are paying for it yourself, consider a high end machine, buy the best you can afford. I believe in being as untethered to my health insurance and to doctors on this sleep medicine stuff as is possible, because they can be so slow and so difficult to deal with and so greedy.
Id be dead by now if I didn't use my CPAP gear every night.

Have you called secondwind? What they are going to tell you on the phone is very different than what they show on their website!!! They have "deals" that don't show on their site. Once you commit to an order they will offer you something better, usually at the same price. I got a bipap auto for $884. Brand new!
