When I use my Activa, I wake up during the night with a wet nose. Not sure if it's from sweating or from the humdifier (with the heat turned off, no rainout). I started CPAP therapy in April with the Activa and later I bought a CL2 and used the nasal pillows which work great. So when we turned on the AC this summer, I decided to try the Activa again and I still woke up with a wet nose.
I'm thinking about getting the hybrid so I won't have to tape my mouth anymore. But I don't want to put out that kind of money if I'll be waking up with a wet face.
Does anyone else have this problem or a solution?

Re: Wet Nose
I also have a wet and itchy outside of nose every night. I so not use the humidifier, but does not help much. By wiping my nose dry all is fine for a few hours, then need to rewipe. Any answers?

Locate the machine below your head and mattress - water will run back to it instead of to you.

Sometimes newbies here think it's not OK to start a new thread when the topic has already been covered, but we prefer it to wading through old threads.
That said, Don B, you may be experiencing this because of your AC or sleeping in a cold room. Condensation because of the cold outside air hitting the warmer air of the hose and mask or vice versa. A hose cosy or heated tubing may help. If the moisture is in the mask and not in the hose, try a cover for your mask. Take a look at Padacheek.com.
