What I've found is that if I hold the mask exactly where shown in the picture, and tug it away from my nose just slightly, so that it's not compressing against me so tightly, the seal remains perfect, air flows even better on inhale, and suddenly exhaling becomes so easy it's almost effortless. If that's how it felt all the time it would be close to a perfect mask experience. But as soon as I let go and it's compressing more towards my nose due to the pull of the straps, air does not flow as smoothly in either direction. Questions:
1. Is that (when I tug on it) how it's supposed to feel, but due to the anatomy of my nose or the size of my head doesn't when I let go? Or does it work like this for everyone?
2. Is there anything I can do to achieve what happens when I tug on it? Obviously I can't tug on it all night!
FWIW I'm using the large insert and am positive that's the best size for me of the 3 sizes, so that's not the issue. I really like this mask overall, if I could get it to work like it does when I'm tugging on it, it would have an immensely positive affect on my therapy.
