How to register/setup used machine

How to setup used machine so it will be legally compliant with DOT reporting standards? I have an old machine, from before data or sd cards, can't afford new machine. Looking at a Resmed 9.

I guess you need to inquire at the DOT and see what they require. I imagine the SD card data is what they'll want. Good luck
