Hello,
I just got a new mask, it the most comfortable and tolerable for me but I don't feel as rested in the AM.
The new mask is the Phillips Amara View, it's kind of like a hybrid mask.

It looks like you got great results and your leak rate started out on the high side. I also am now using the Amara View mask and still chasing done what else is causing me to not sleep well. For me the mask part seems to be done. Oh and the Amara View seems to like to be tightened more than my last mask the Simplus FFM and it take me a couple tries to get it sitting right on my face

It does look good? My girlfriend says it sounds like it leaks a lot? I'm wondering if that is from the vents on the front of the mask or if it is still leaking? I'll keep on using it, I've tightened it down, it's is definitely the most comfortable mask hands down, this is mask #4 for me.

A full face mask has exhaust vents to release CO2. Without the vents you would suffocate breathing in CO2. The mask should not be tightened down...it must fill with air and float on your face to be comfortable.

When I used a Simplus, that has a bellows system to seal against the face, yes indeed it had to "float" so the bellows would inflate.
However with the Amara View it does not have a bellows system to seal against the face and according to the RT that fit me with it, it is worn much tighter than traditional FFM. Of course the expert could have been wrong, then again I get zero leaks with mine and I do indeed wear it much tighter than the Simplus mask.YMMV

Agreed, tighter seems to be better with this mask so far.

Used the mask again last night and I woke up feeling really tired again this morning? Trying to figure out why? I keep the mask on all night, something is wrong, anyone have any ideas?
