just a question i have apnea and have been using a cpap machine for over two years or so and i was wondering how often if at all should i get a new sleep study done. i ask because is there a chance that the pressure needs to be adjusted.

Re: sleep study
If you feel that it is not working well enough or not as well as it used to, then those are good times to have a new sleep study. If you are feeling good and the numbers on the machine are good, then there is no need unless your insurance requires it.
If your machine has full data, you can often look at that to see if your settings need tweaking.

Who would have thought it would be this challenging to sleep and breathe at the same time?
Re: sleep study
Cory - you didn't say which machine (full name/model) you use... and you didn't say why you think adjustment is needed - what does Encore say about things?
You shouldn't need a new study if Encore gives enough info so that we can see what's what, and if your pressure needs to be raised we can tell you how to do that.
