Nocturia and Allopurinol

Strange question. I started taking Allopurinol for Gout. My PCP recommended taking it at bedtime. Since I started CPAP, one benefit I saw was no night time excursions to the bathroom. Well since I started taking the Allopurinol I find myself waking up on average once a night. Seems more than a coincidence. Thoughts?

Is that a diuretic?

My medical story is somehow similar. I have OSA and also I' ve gout.
