Irritation w/AirFit pillows?

Post by mbwiles » Sat May 02, 2015 1:28 pm

Resumed CPAP 6 months ago, mostly to great effect. Have AirFit (P10) mask w/nasal pillows, much less cumbersome than prior mask - which may have been an older Swift? With the strap behind and on top of head with hose clip? Anyway, before pillows were no problem but current AirFit pillows have consistently caused irritation of right nostril, despite experimenting with size, etc.

Any suggestions?

You might try Lanisoh. Many have found that just a small amount applied to the irritated area prior to donning the mask is helpful. The link is for Target, but it's carried at many stores including Wal Mart. You'll find it in the "baby needs" section.

The Swift FX is a good nasal pillow mask that has more adjustable headgear than the P10.
