hey guys! I've been using my air sense 10 for about 4 months now and lately, I've been only using it for 2-3 hours (or even less) and wake up with the full mask of my face.
i don't remember taking it off and when i first started i was using it 7-8 hours. any tips on how to make it more comfortable so i won't unknowingly remove it?

You might want to list your equipment...and settings. Surprisingly, this helps us figure things out. Do you use SleepyHead or other software to check your therapy? Could be that you move around and have mask leaks that irritate you, and you take off the mask. Could be pressure changes that cause the same. Could be that your pressure isn't comfortable, and needs to be tweaked. Could maybe be a ton of other stuff.

ahhh. yes. i forgot to add specifics.
unit: ResMed AirSense 10
mask: full face (mouth breather)
settings: auto ramp
software: i just follow up on their website since it automatically uploads to my profile with them
i do wake up with my cheeks inflated every now and then feeling like a chipmunk because the auto ramp reaches around level 10-12

WHICH FF mask?
And 'ramp' is not a setting, tho' you can set it to various places itself... Ramp is meant to make things easier starting out at night by slowly increasing the air from the machine to the prescribed number (of cm), e.g. if your prescription calls for 10 cm (low setting) and 15 cm (high), the ramp will start at e.g. 5 cm and 'ramp' up to 10 cm over e.g. 20 minutes... but I'll tell you that most of us stop using the ramp feature within a very short time - days - of beginning Cpap as going straight to the prescribed setting is usually not a big deal unless prescribed setting is very high (>15 or more) and often the beginning ramp setting (5 cm in my example here) is uncomfortably low to inhale at. When we ask you what your pressures are, we're asking for the prescribed ones (10+15 in my example above), not the ones you set the ramp to (over however many mins it takes it to reach the prescribed ones). SO, what are your prescribed settings please?

Re: cpap user for 4 months
the mask is the F10. it's snug but when i move, air leaks would appear from the corners of my nose and tickle my eyes.
my prescribed setting is 15 (max) due to my borderline severe sleep apnea during my study.

Re: cpap user for 4 months
But it's the low setting that's important - too low and you'll have trouble getting enough air, too high and the machine may have to take too long to stop apneas.
Re: cpap user for 4 months
Don't assume you're a mouth breather. Try nasal rinses and maybe cortico steroid sprays and a nasal pillow mask if you can. It saved me from giving up with a FFM.
