I feel good today.

Post by Noctuary » Tue Apr 21, 2015 4:00 pm

My body is tired, but I feel refreshed. Yesterday I was wired and tired, unrefreshed. This is the way it usually goes for me; wired and tired/unrefreshed one day, body tired but refreshed the next. I think I'm sleeping every other day. A few years back I stayed up all night and worked the next day, all the way to midnight. The following day I felt like I do now, refreshed, but still fatigue from missing a day's sleep. I just can't figure out why this is happening. If I felt like this everyday I could live with it; its just the days I feel unrefreshed that I get all depressed and come here and bitch.

Most of my posts here are on the days I feel unrefreshed and despondent.

You know, I wonder if you should try keeping a journal... as the days go on, just jot down your activities, what you eat, etc. etc. and after a couple of wks, go back and see if there's any kind of pattern to any of it, the kind you might not see otherwise, may be too close to or habitual stuff, etc.

I'm glad that it's a better day for you. I'm sad that you don't have a data capable machine. Comparing the data for good and bad nights might allow you to make adjustments to your therapy to improve it. Do you notice a difference on the display in the mornings between good nights and bad nights?

I could do that. Its pretty regular though, this pattern of wired and tired/unrefreshed, refreshed and body fatigue. I have had a string of good days before; I think they were building on top of one another.

I'm willing to buy one on a charge card. Any S9 without the word "Escape", right?

I don't think I can recall the AHIs displayed showing any marked difference between good nights and bad. Yesterday was bad and my AHI was 1.8; today its 0.8.

And, as expected, today I feel unrefreshed. Last night's AHI: 1.7

This is actually a very good idea. Last year when I got out of the hospital, I only had about 40% of my normal strength, and it seemed like it wasn't getting any better.

I started a journal in my phone and entered information about what I ate, weighed, effort to do things and milestones on achievement (doing something I couldn't before)

It helped me see there was actually improvement, and gave me details I would have forgotten when I saw the Dr. It also correlated issues I had with things I had done, eaten etc.

But this is a day to day thing. Literally. One day I feel refreshed with a deep body fatigue; the next day I will feel unrefreshed/wired and tired. It was like this before the therapy too, however much more intense. There has been some deviation, but not much. Its weird. I've googled a couple of phrases to see if anyone else might have experienced this, but nothing comes up ('cept me).

Two bad days in a row; however I only slept about five hours each day. Also, I don't feel "wired and tired" nor did I yesterday. I just feel sleepy. It will get worse as the night wears on.
