ResMed Air Sense 10
I am a new CPAP user and I would like to know how the AirSense 10 for her compares with the regular AirSense 10. I keep reading that the Her model is better for women but have not talked to anyone yet.

Re: ResMed Air Sense 10
The Airsense AutoSet can be run in straight pressure cpap mode, or Auto mode with a range of pressure.
The AutoSet for her model includes a third mode, or auto algorithm that is supposed to be better adapted to female respiratory patterns. When it senses the need for a pressure increase it is a more mild pressure change, basically.
It also records RERA events that the normal AutoSet does not, so with the for her model you get a couple extras, three different modes (cpap, apap, Apap for her) and RERA reporting all for the same price as the regular autoset and it has pretty floral pattern instead of plain black
