I received the valve to keep water vapor from the humidifier from getting into the generator. Sorry to say it made no difference in the noise level. At least not to my partally deaf ears.

Noticed your pic, what kind of scope is that?
When not trying to sleep, I like to peek out with my newtonian myself....
