Humidifier not working

Post by Moad » Sat Jan 10, 2015 6:57 pm

Husband resumed humidifier states not working, what can we do? Insurance won't cover new one until later part of next month.

I assume you meant ResMed for his machine. Take it back to your DME (supplier of medical stuff). It's hard to believe it's not covered, but nothing would surprise me in this arena. You said that it's not covered until later next month. To me that would be unacceptable and I'd raise holy heck. On the other hand lots of people don't use their humidifier, so they manage to get by without... it's all up to your husband and what he can tolerate.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.
