Air in my stomach

Post by Raul » Thu Jan 08, 2015 1:57 pm

I have had my cpap for 3 years now and refused to use it. I would wear it for a night or two and get frustrated and then not wear it for 6 months. Now I am determined to use it because I am just so exhausted. I finally slept for 4 hours straight with it but woke up with terrible stomach pain from swallowing so much air. Then I of courses expelled the air for the next two hours. Yuck. I have been using a chin strap to keep my mouth closed but it still happens. Please help.

If you've set a high pressure, you might want to try 1-2 cm less and see if it helps - as long as it doesn't interfere with your therapy otherwise.
