help understanding data from encore

Post by Clinte89 » Sun Jan 04, 2015 9:03 am

Hello everyone. I am interested in trying to understand some data from encore basic. I cant use sleepy head with my machine yet so this is what I have. I have an appointment next week to see an anrp or something like that at the doctors office I usually go to. I have an st machine I was trying to get an asv machine however they had ordered the st and since its only being rented I have hope that if it doesnt work out well then I can easily change. but since I am going next week to see someone who I feel is more compitent than my doctor I would like to understand a little about my data. what would the best way to upload it be? Screen shots?

The EncoreBasic program lets you view detailed information, from which you could save screenshots and upload those to Imgur, Photobucket or other hosting site, or you can save a detailed report as a PDF and share that through a file sharing service like dropbox. Either will work, however much more information will be in a full report PDF than a single image. Also, EncoreBasic can produce a waveform chart for your last night of data. This has the most specific information about events and what is going on when they occur. Again, waveform data can be saved as a PDF report.

What you have posted is compliance summary info. Go to detail instead and pick a couple of pages with the days detail.

That worked. I have no recommendations, but your AHI ranges from 1 to 4 and consists almost entirely of hypopnea events with some minor CA events (<1). Leaks are well within reason. Some of your sleeping seems fragmented, but we don't know why. Pressures IPAP and EPAP are fixed, so we can't really judge a response to different pressure settings. Overall, this seems to reflect effective therapy with some possible room for improvement of the hypopneas, which might respond to a higher EPAP.

What area of the data is something you'd like to know more about? Did you get any waveform data?

I don't understand. Your link has complete compliance, use patterns, long term trends, 7 daily charts of events, pressures, leaks etc, and summary data. https://www.dropbox.com/s/x7lngy471hltq ... d.pdf?dl=0

It looks to me like you saved the detailed data and uploaded it to dropbox.
