ResMed Aircurve S10

Post by Stevoreno_55 » Wed Dec 10, 2014 9:08 pm

I finally got my ResMed AirCurve S10 BiLevel machine today. My DME called this morning and told me they would be sending it out late today. I also received a new ResMed FF mask and I'll be doing a pulse ox test tonight. This machine is sweet; it's leaps and bounds in technology since the days I first used my Philips Respironics DS400S.

Well I got one yesterday; my DME told me a month ago that it could be January 2015 before I got one but I got one late yesterday.

December 5, 2014 I believe was the release date. Someone else on the forum got the the AirCurve Adapt Auto just the other day or was getting it very shortly.

I slept good the first night using my ResMed AirCurve S10 last night; this is the first machine I've ever used which has a heated hose and the heated hose is worth every penny. I woke up this morning with no nasal congestion or discomfort in my nostrils. These machines have just been released but mine does not list a date of manufacture anywhere on it. Would the date of manufacture be listed in the machine's serial number?

The AirCurve S10 is a sweet machine and with my newly diagnosed pressures of 22cmIPAP and 18cmEPAP I tolerated it pretty good last night. Using the FF mask is going to take some getting use to; it was hard getting a good seal with my high pressures last night. I'm going to try another FF mask tonight also by ResMed; this other mask which was brought out yesterday has no forehead piece on it. My DME is going to let me use their pulse ox device another night then the RT will come pick it up tomorrow morning and download the data to see how low my O2 levels dropped during both nights. The RT told me yesterday that my O2 levels needed to stay above 88 during the night.
