Husband may be developing diabetesm although he has not yet been diagnosed yet. Elevated glucose, but he was placed on Wellbutrin, which has been reported to cause hyperglycemia in some cases. Thyroid normal.

Now on to the dreaded part. Trying to work with the actual readings and monitor itself.

We are all zoned in here on the CPAP change but I wanted to be sure that if the Wellbutrin was a new addition that the prescribing doctor was aware of this change.

Also please be aware of the potential side effects of Wellbutrin

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bupropion

Insomnia is quite common and it isn't so easily dealt with by taking the dose in the AM.
It's well known to cause sleep disturbances.

The reason I thought of this is that my son years ago was placed on an anti-depressant for bed wetting and it completely worked opposite, making him mope, and not wanting to do anything. When I told the urologist he said if anything it should have the opposite effect. But medications effect people differently. After a couple of weeks we decided to treat the bed wetting differently and I had my son back. I know this may not apply in this case but I thought it should be discussed especially if it was a new medication.

Thanks to you all. I guess you think I have forgotten about the software. Not at all. We are both going through some major health issues and I am having a hard time keeping up with it all.

He is being weaned off of Wellbutrin-Internist doesn't think this is causing problems. Evidently, he does not read reports from the Internet.

He saw an Electrophysiologist today for a second opinion on any heart issues that might be related. He has a tiny recorder implanted in his chest to monitor his heart, I want to say for a year (due to a-fib). A stress test was ordered as well as more blood work and a referral to a Neurologist.

Today, once again, he fell asleep in school, then again tonight right in the middle of a discussion we were having.

Oximeter reading during the night=96 now, 87 a few nights back.

About the software: Where do I start on a Mac? Any other ideas here?

Thanks,
scarlett6

I'm glad to see you back. I don't use a Mac but If someone doesn't reply with help. You can PM kaiasgram I know she uses a Mac and volunteered to help you with the setup.
