That was the brush I bought; but it is so stiff and so large it could barely be FORCED into the narrow tubing.
I never used it, knowing it would certainly damage my hose. I probably should have returned it

All these people that are concerned with cleaning their CPAP equipment to protect against their own germs are the same people that hang their cleaned hose in the dirty germ filled bathroom to dry. Also they probably have their toothbrush open to these same bathroom germs...when did you last replace that dirty toothbrush?

I use the 19mm brush advertised on the CPAP.com site also. It fits through the climate line on the ResMed S9 machine. The new hose brush is made of stainless steel which is a better material but unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a user friendly hose brush suitable for CPAP hoses. Obviously one needs to be invented so it will fold or bend easily but in the mean time as far as I know, that's the only one available. Would you believe? I find it is an essential tool though. Obviously the tube needs thorough regular cleaning as moulds are so harmful to the lungs.

Then, I assume that you sterilize the brush so the next time you clean the hose you are not reintroducing the "germs" /molds you took out last time.

Check out this newer brush, it's very flexible and stainless steel , made for 22mm cpap tubes. I'm really happy with this one, I had the older stiff brushes, and felt like they were going to damage my tube. this one is of much higher quality and more gentle. Amazon has really good reviews for it.
