PR System One REMstar 60 Series BiPAP Auto SV Advanced

Post by squid13 » Wed Dec 03, 2014 5:48 pm

I just acquired a PR System One REMstar 60 Series BiPAP Auto SV Advanced from Craigs list and I have a question about the SD card. In the ResMed machine you can format the card and when you install it back into the machine it will write new files to the card will the PR System One machine due the same thing if I format the card and and reinstall it back into the machine. I love my Adapt Auto 36037 but this was a good deal and I've wanted to try this machine. I need to get rid of her data off of the card.

yes... erase the card and pop it in.

do clear the data off the machine first though, else it'll write that to the card, and you'll probably have to erase it again

You don't really have to do a formal reformat...all you have to do is manually delete all the old data on the SD card.
Don't forget to reset the machine also so that any old data stored on the machine isn't left.
Then put the SD card in and the machine will do the rest. Easy. I have done it often just like what I said. I have never needed to do a full reformat. I just use MyComputer and manually delete all those old files.

Thank you palerider and Pugsy, I thought it could be done but just wanted to make sure.

One other thing I forgot to ask, is there any way to turn it completely off except pulling the plug. On the S9 you just hold the button down.

Mine just goes to sleep a little while after I turn off the blower. I usually just leave it plugged in. I haven't seen anything that turns it completely off without unplugging it.

Hubby's equipment: PR System One REMstar Auto A-Flex model 560P. Doctor's orders left it open 5-20. We changed it to 8-20 after a couple nights. Start Date was 1/30/15. Oh, mask is the new nasal pico.
