Sync time clock with EncorePro 2?

Post by M'ohms » Tue Dec 02, 2014 6:49 am

I had to install a new hard drive on my computer last week and since then, my EncorePro reports are displaying my nightly data over 2 nights (part on last night, part on next night). I can't find a way to change this in EncorePro. Does anyone know how to fix this? I have version 2.13.6.0

Thanks!

There is a time zone adjustment that needs to be done when using Encore Pro.
The default is for GMT time and that doesn't work so great for those of us in the US....and it causes the split days.
Easy to fix though.
Go to Company Settings tab. Then double click on the blue Encore Company under office names to open this page area where you can click on the "EDIT" button and change the time zone to your time zone. DST time observed will bring it within one hour. For some reason before the recent DST change the time was perfect but now it is one hour early. I am hoping that when the "normal" DST change comes around this will fix itself. Otherwise, this is what we have and this fall changing it back to not observed will correct it. It is close enough either way. It is in this area you can create a new user if you wish.

Oh..BTW the default password expiration is 90 days and that can cause trouble on the 91 day if you don't reset it...I suggest changing the password expiration to "never" or 0 or whatever that number is.
You can change this in the Company Settings tab and then Preferences tab. Easily seen to Edit. In this same area is the Leak reported choice. It defaults to "unintentional leak" or excess leak. You can change it to total leak if you wish. This leak is close but not absolute because no where in the software do you input the exact mask and intentional vent rate. So don't be alarmed if it numbers are off a bit. Example, my mask has vent rate of 35 at my pressure but if I choose Total Leak I often see total leak as 28 L/min. Go figure... It is close. I really just look at the leak line itself and don't pay all that much attention to the leak average. If line is more or less straight, that is sufficient.

Click tab Company Settings > click 'Encore Company' (unless you gave it a different name) > there's all the time and setup goodies below. If you are running a laptop with a 15.7" screen or smaller you'll need additional help cuz the program doesn't adjust well to small screens and it clips some entry fields off... very clumsy programming IMO. Ask for that help if you need it and I'll look up some old threads. EDIT: looks like Pugsy beat me to it, again.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

Thanks--that's just what I needed. It worked like a charm! I also zero'd out my password expiration time.
