Summary data incorrectly written to SD card

Post by RogerSC » Sun Nov 30, 2014 7:51 pm

I somehow left my SD card in my computer for about a week. Must have gotten distracted when I would have finished with the card and put it back in the machine. And apparently I wasn't reading the display at night during the last week, and didn't see the "Attention: No SD card in machine" message every night. Anyways, I figured no harm done, I'd just put the card back in the machine, it would automatically write the summary data for the last week on the SD card and that would be the end of it. So I did that, then loaded the SD card data into Sleepyhead. There was summary data there, but it wasn't correct. For example, it said my AHI for last night was .41, which I knew was low.

So I went back to the cpap machine, and looked at the sleep report for last night, and it had the AHI at about 1.4, which is what I remember from this morning. I'm glad that the machine has the data, but I don't know why that it wouldn't write the correct data to the SD card since it has it internally.

Is there something that I can do to get the cpap machine to re-write the summary data to the SD card, and hope for the right data this time? I looked back through the manuals that I have, and I don't see anything in the menus that would do this, which reinforces my memory that it was supposed to write the summary data automatically.

Anyways, seems like something's not working right here. I'm not sure whether I'd rather have it be Sleepyhead or the machine, either one is not good.

Any ideas on this one, anyone experienced something similar and find a solution? Or do I just have a lost week, here? Kind of throws my overview data off to have wrong AHI's for a week. Bummer. Could be a lot worse, though, I guess.

Thanks.

Okay *smile*, never mind. Turns out that Sleepyhead cannot display ResMed "summary only" data correctly. I found an old version of ResScan on my computer, installed it, and the "statistics" that it displayed were fine. So the data was written correctly, it just requires ResMed software to display.

Good thing to know, I guess.
