Might be a bit gross but..........

Post by The Baby Crow » Mon Nov 10, 2014 5:34 pm

I've been on CPAP for almost 3 months now.

I just received the "Sinus Blaster" from Pur-Sleep and I really like it but now I'm finding I have Phlem in my throat when I wake up in the mornings.

Could this be the Sinus stuff or just a coincidence?

Thanks,
Marilyn

Whatever you think it is, it's possible it's not.
Normal mucus thickens if there is not enough water.
So drink your eight glasses a day, please.

Take OTC Musinex...it thins the mucus.

I've tried Pur-Sleeps 'Clear' aromatherapy formula which is pleasant to breathe in at night... is this Sinus-Blaster a new product? See link below. I also noted VaporClear on the product's selection webpage but not Sinus Blaster. You sure you got the company name right? Pur-Sleeps website is not the easiest to navigate.

EDIT. Okay, I found it here via a web search:

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

NeilMed Sinus Rinse is a good saline rinse solution for clearing out your nose. Pretty cheap and works wonders for some people.

You have to get over the yuck factor of rinsing your nose out. You'd also think that water going up your nose would drive you crazy, but it's not that bad if you get the water to the right temperature and use their salt mix.

I'm reading from the brochure "cpap Vapor Clear" that came with the product which is Pur-Sleeps Clear and the other is Calm:

"Soothing CPAP Comfort SinusBlaster!"

I'm using it and the NetiPot and it seems to be helping.

Thanks,
