Hmm, not necessarily so. For some people, it might be psychological but for other folks, it could be due to nasal congestion that isn't relieved by taking something. We see that when people say they can't possibly breathe with a mask on. We see that when people say they fall asleep instantly when they take the mask off.
It also might be due to having a very uncomfortable mask. In the past, I never could fall back asleep with a full face mask but since the nasal cloth mask is alot more comfortable, I have been able to although unfortunately, I still don't get enough sleep which is a whole other discussion. And I may have to move back to the FF mask area, which hopefully the sleep tech at my sleep study can help me with.
And some people for other reasons just can't sleep with the mask on no matter what they do. Dr. Stephen Park has talked about folks with UARS issues having such hypersensitive systems that the masks cause arousals instead of helping them sleep. Now that might be possibly remediated in some cases but not always.
Anyway, coming back to the topic - Kaisgram has a great idea. I wish she was up to producing a recording because I would buy it in a heartbeat and I will bet other people would also. But the support group is a great idea.
