I was looking for older posts for which there were never any responses.
At the bottom of the page are some display criteria.
I selected Replies and display in ascending order.
Do that and you get old posts with 0 responses.
To get past the really old ones, you have to skip down to about the 80th block or so.
Some of these deserve another look.
Just a thought..

Or there's posts with current info also to read. Reading is good, that doesn't mean, we need to add usless comment's to old threads, instead of making new reverent threads that pertain to current needs.
The good thing about reading older threads, you can use that advice to keep from asking the same questions over and over. Jim

I commend you for looking out for posters who never got an answer to their questions. Sometimes things slip through the cracks. I rarely look past the first page. I do hope they stayed around and tried again to get an answer. Thanks for the reminder to stay in tune. I know some here try to be attentive to that.JDS74 wrote:I was looking for older posts for which there were never any responses.

I try to make an effort about once a week to look on the second and third pages to see who's not getting any replies. Sometimes I try and give advice and other times all I can do is bump it back up, especially if the OP is really seeking help that others in the community might provide. I been kind of lax lately due to the sheer volume of posts currently on CPAPtalk - this surely speeds up the interval in which stuff drops off the first page.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

There are also some posts with hundreds of responses that I tend to ignore - either the topic has been beaten to death, or I do not have time to go through everything in the thread, or (and this is highly likely) the thread has gotten so far off topic that it is difficult to follow who needs advice and who doesn't. Your approach of looking for posts with zero responses has a lot of merit, so keep up the good work.Sir NoddinOff wrote:I try to make an effort about once a week to look on the second and third pages to see who's not getting any replies. Thanks SleepyToo2, My wife calls me 'The Sweeper' because on biking or hiking trips I always volunteer to lag behind and keep an eye on the last ones in line. Maybe I've got a little of the Catcher in the Rye complexSleepyToo2 wrote:Sir NoddinOff wrote: Your approach of looking for posts with zero responses has a lot of merit, so keep up the good work.

That title might have a different job description if you were following horses in a parade.Sir NoddinOff wrote:My wife calls me 'The Sweeper' because on biking or hiking trips I always volunteer to lag behind and keep an eye on the last ones in line.
