Still feeling tired with CPAP. Please help.
Re: Still feeling tired with CPAP. Please help.
I have been using a straight CPAP pressure of 10 and EPR of 2. My sleep seems to be better with the straight CPAP. I am also trying to sleep on my side as this reduces my therapy pressure requirement. My average leak is around 0.86 and 95% pressure at 1.20. How should I interpret this data. My graph shows I had reached maximum 80L/min on few occassions.

I think you meant 95% leak and not pressure because pressure can go to down lower than 4 cm.Suneesh S wrote:My average leak is around 0.86 and 95% pressure at 1.20. How should I interpret this data. My graph shows I had reached maximum 80L/min on few occassions.
95% numbers (either pressure or leak) just means that for 95% of the time you were at or below that number. If you are seeing a 95% leak number of 1.20 L/min that means for 95% of the time the leak was at or below that number and that's a really low leak number and I bet your leak line is pretty much flat and either just a tiny bit above 0 or just barely above 0.
The 80 L/min max spikes are likely when you refit the mask.
