Help to find supplier. Canadian in US

Post by skram » Fri Aug 08, 2014 9:23 pm

I am in transit to the US and the cushion for my Pilairo nasal mask didn't make into my bag. I will be in the Nashua, NH area.

Can anyone direct me to where I can purchase a replacement in that area?

I am in Minnesota, but just did a quick google search. Apria Healthcare has stores in Wilmington and Manchester ... I don't know where these are in relation to Nashua. Good luck, I hope you are able to pick up a replacement.

Now using AirFit F10 mask; Quattro Air is backup mask. RemZzzz mask liners with both.

While Apria is everywhere they may not sell w/o a prescription. If you have a prescription with an online vendor like cpap dot com that may be quick.

No prescription - you can try craigslist or ebay.

Or maybe someone here would be kind enough to mail you one, tho that may require a new post.

I'm only on the US for a few days so mail is not an option.

I don't have the Rx with me. Is it needed for parts? I had thought it was only needed for entire masks.

Pretty sure it's not needed for parts.

Thanks
The Manchester location looks like it's about a half an hour from where I'll be. So I'll likely try that one on Monday. Since closed today can't talk to them to verify.

Technically RX isn't required for replacement parts but I have heard of brick and mortar DMEs still requiring a RX to be on file before they will sell you anything. I would call first for sure. I have heard of DMEs being unwilling to sell even a chin strap without a RX.

Pugsy, thanks for the heads up. I will definitely call before I go to make sure.

A poster on another site suggested to try online 'Yellow pages'

I ended up finding 2 this way. Called them yesterday morning. One didn't seem to understand, turns out they only carry one brand and mostly things like chi straps. The second one only sold full masks and thus required an Rx. However I asked if they knew of anywhere else I could try and they gave me a number for Keene. They had it in stock and I picked one up,,

It was so nice to get a good sleep after 3 crappy nights.
