I have recently noticed a significant increase in my AHI. I have tried to lower it by increasing my machine pressure, but that does not seem to help. I checked my Sleepyhead data today and discovered that even while I have the CPAP machine set to a pressure of 11, the Sleepyhead data shows the pressure varied between 6 and 8. I would expect to have a high AHI at a pressure of 6, but virtually none at 11. What could be happening?

Sleepyhead says pressure lower than machine setting
Re: Sleepyhead says pressure lower than machine setting
Might be just SleepyHead. I assume you are referring to the pressure graphs?
Try this.....got into Preferences and then the Appearance tab and remove the check mark for "use pixmap caching" and restart SleepyHead and see if the pressure graphs show what they should show.
This is a SH Windows version thing...if you are using Mac version I don't know about it.
I had this happen on an earlier version of SleepyHead myself with my S9 machine. Turning off pixmap caching fixed it.
Which version are you using?

Re: Sleepyhead says pressure lower than machine setting
Where are you getting the SH numbers from? The daily data or the statistical summary data? And which version of SH are you using? And are you using the ramp?
You report the machine as a Resmed S9 Elite, which is a fixed pressure machine. The only variation in pressure that should show up in the daily data numbers would be caused by using the ramp.
Can you post a screen shot of the data for us to look at?
