yawning

Post by HealthyandHopeful » Sun Jul 13, 2014 6:28 am

Do yawns affect our report? What does the machine think of a yawn? I hope this makes sense. Every night when I'm trying to go to sleep I think of this question -- finally I thought of it during the day so I can ask it!

Side note -- Now and then I have some kind of problem where I have trouble getting a deep breath. I don't know why this happens but it happens now and then and has for the past 7 years. This past week has been one of those times. I will try to yawn (sometimes I can't but when I can I get the deep breath). Each time I wonder if this is affecting my sleep report.

Thank you!

set the clock on your autoset to be accurate, glance at the clock when you yawn, and then check the data in sleepyhead and report back

I don't think you yawn while you are sleeping. If you are yawning while you have your mask on and are trying to sleep it most likely will show up as a CA...if at all.

I didn't know I should set the clock on my autoset. I'll do that! I probably am yawning while awake but wondered what that does to my report. Good idea, thanks!

go into the clinicians menu, then into the options menu, then scroll down to date and time
