DeSat Artifact on Graph?

Post by coolbranch » Sat Jul 12, 2014 3:31 pm

I hope this is only an artifact. It looks like pulse stopped and started, but when compared to same time on graph, flow rate showed normal waveform Desat to 65? Surely not. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Artifacts such as this do occur in pulse oximeter data. It could be that you were moving around at the time or that the finger sensor got mispositioned for a while. If it was real, as you surmised, it would also have shown up in the machine data.
