Adding uploading photos, screenshots, pictures using flickr

I may not be able to help with setting up your machine, But I can help with this..

There is no correct way to upload pictures or photos just differant ways, if the way your doing it works for you stay with that. If you are starting out, here is a pretty easy way to accomplish adding screenshots.. it may seem like alot of steps at first, but we have to set every thing up..

Setup:

1. Download dropbox http://www.dropbox.com to your computer and run it.
Here is some information on dropbox. https://www.dropbox.com/s/il3ews22otp6h ... tarted.pdf

It will make a folder in dropbox called screenshots. Every time you hit CTRL on the bottom left of your keyboard and print screen on the top right of your keyboard at the same time it will put a screenshot in that folder. when you take a screenshot you will see a pop up on the lower right saying it put the screen shot in the dropbox folder. As a bonus, if you download dropbox on your smartphone it will sync and backup all photos you take to your computer..

2. go to https://www.flickr.com/ and sign up for an account.

Adding screen shots to you posts:

1. have sleepyhead software open and looking at what you want to upload like this.

2. press CTRL + Print screen at the same time. Do this as many times as you zoom in, out or what ever you want to show and post to the site.

3. Right click on the dropbox icon and click dropbox folder it will take you to dropbox.

4. click on screen shots.

5. go to flickr https://www.flickr.com/ in the top left, click UPLOAD.

It will take you to this screen.

6. go back to your screenshot folder and highlight all screenshots you want to upload.

7. drag those photos to the flickr window and let go, it will look like this.

8. click the upload icon in the top right of flickr.

9. click upload.

10. Once done uploading it will show you your screenshots, click on the screenshot you want to upload to your post.

11. It will take you to this screen. if you want to upload more screenshots, you can click on the next screenshot in the middle of this window.

12. Click the little box with the arrow ( share this photo) and this will happen. Click the BBCode on the right and make sure the size is set it to medium.

13. make sure the text below is highlighted blue and right click and click copy.

14. go to your post on cpaptalk, right click where you want the screenshot to be and click paste.

15. after your done with you post click preview to see if it looks like you want...

Done..

I hope this helps, if you see something that i should change or seems confusing, just let me know and I will change it..

I know it seems like allot of steps, but it takes me about 30 seconds to post a picture.... I wish we could just drag and drop, now that would be easy...

Flicker sucks.

I use FB. FB is always open in a browser on my computer.

Set the photo privacy setting to "Only Me" if you don't want it to go into all your FB friends newsfeeds.

flikr is cool for sharing your photo album, it sucks for what is needed here, iow, a nice large pic with plenty of detail without shadowy navigation arrows and stuff.
