What city are you near?
Is there a medical center there?
You might try calling their appointment number and asking for an appointment with a sleep doctor for a second opinion.
Alternatively, ask the sleep lab for a list of sleep doctors in your general area who have scheduled sleep studies with them.

Are you anywhere near Phoenix, AZ, Jacksonvile, FL, or Rochester, MN - If so, you can call the Mayo Clinic in those cities and ask for an appointment for a second opinion on a sleep apnea issue. Each of the clinics have an online appointment request page. Rochester is best but the others are good as well. BTW the costs at Mayo generally run less than at your local sleep center, enough so that the travel cost plus the clinic cost is frequently less than your local costs.

How about Cleveland, OH - same thing with the Cleveland Clinic.

Have you explained to your primary physician that you are having issues with your current sleep doctor and want to get a second opinion about your studies so far?

For any of these alternatives, you will definitely need the sleep studies that you have done so far. Press that issue as much as is necessary to get a copy in your hands.

Well good news. I got a referral tp another doctor who is suppose to call me today so that i can get a second opinion and they have requested a copy of my records so they will have them by the time i get to see them and it seems as though this new doc doesnt have so many patients that it takes a month to get to see them.

Crossing my fingers for you that this one is willing to at least listen to reason.
When you see him...ask his staff if you can also have a copy of those records for your personal files. They can give you a copy of what they have.
