It is entirely normal to have a sleep doctor who is also a neurologist.
Both if the sleep docs I saw at Mayo in Rochester, MN were neurologists.
Both of the sleep docs here at home are pulmonologists, the other common speciality.
If the leaks in your mask are small AND they don't disturb your sleep, then its nothing to worry about.
Do you have software so that you can track your own efficacy data?
If your machine records the data, being able to see it will be very helpful.
It would help in getting advice if you would register your equipment. There is a link showing how to do this in the signature block down below.
