Good job, sleepyred! I also would like to know how you got the lot number.

I just posted in a new topic the results of my email to ResMed Customer Service. I opened a new topic because it also deals with my good ol' S8 Escape and its lack of efficacy data. Anyway, Customer Service was prompt, and didn't use too much boilerplate.

There is a sheet of paper which cam in the package - has UPC codes etc.

At the bottom it says Lot with a box around it and a number

My lot number is: 169339

Durn! Although I'm really good at keeping all the papers that come with equipment I'm horrible when it comes to finding them again. Can't find anything with a lot number on it. I would have been really interested to know if my Quattro was from the same lot as yours.

I wish I'd kept the one from my 1st one - bet it was from the same lot as the one I got today!

thanks for the info and based on lot number my Quattro that DOES NOT leak is from lot # 169346!!
I assume that is a newer lot then what your DME is working from .. I have taken mine apart and still no leak . just guessing but hope that gives a you a lot number to try to get a mask from

too early to tell but based on a sample of one (me) my lot # appears to be corrected OR I am lucky and need to play the Lotto

my 1st one was from the same lot - I'm calling resmed back and letting them know.

Might just swap for a mirage activa until they get in a new lot.

I thought my quattro air was leaking in the same place. followed instructions here and on my 2 week visit to my DME they had a cow. Evidently the "leakage" is actually by deseign and that is your exhale leakage. I asked why does it leak all the time and not just when I breathe they said it was desiegned for constant flow. She was VERY concerned I did this mod.
