Respironics Resistance Control using ResMed Small Swift FX

Post by reader » Sat May 24, 2014 11:55 am

In setting up my new Respironics new 560TS, those who have this know about the "Resistance Control" that matches the pressure being delivered to the specific mask used... as long as its from the Respironics. The Respironics System One Resistance Control Chart show 4 different settings depending upon the Pillow Size itself.... and in my case: Pillows Small is X4..... and I'm using a Resmed Swift FX...... I've not located any definitive threads where a Cross Reference is shown.. Has anyone found that we can simply use the Respironics chart as shown, as the mask specs are close enough?

It's probably close enough.

Respironics says when using non Respironics mask to just turn it off...set to 0.
It doesn't seem to be a critical feature that will make or make the deal.
