Thanks Julie, but I don't live in the US, I am currently living in the middle east where the smallest dose of Prozac is 20 mg capsules. I tried to open a capsule once and it was just powder. Unfortunately, cutting is not an option for me.....

That looks like a great link... and one of the suggestions, to dissolve one cap (e.g. 20 mg in your case) in the equivalent amt of water and then use a syringe to just take up as much or little of it as you want might be a good idea... I can't believe a pharmacist there won't at least provide a syringe with ml (you'll have to convert I guess to measure mls to mgs) that you can use.

You can usually find syringes in the baby section of the drug store because you have to measure their meds in liquid very carefully.

ETA: If you dissolve the meds (20mg) in 20 ml of water then 5 ml will give you the equivalent dose of 5 mg

Update.

It has been a month since I stopped Prozac (20 mg every other day). After 3 weeks I started feeling withdrawal symptoms such as headache, anxiety, and brain fog. It lasted for 1 week and now I feel abit better. The symptoms are milder than those I felt when I stopped Effexor. Looks like 1-month of Prozac helped me with stop Effexor.

The main issueI am feeling for couple of days now is bloating and I don't seem able to lose the weight I gained....
