I think I stop berating intentionally at night ?

Post by Chrisinfp » Sun May 18, 2014 7:47 am

I don't know or seem to struggle to breath at night. I think I hold my breath. My wide has pointed this out to me and I've caught myself a few times. I'm going for a sleep study this week but I was curious if anyone knew of something like this. Thanks

All kinds of weird things happen when we are about to fall asleep.
(I stop berating when I fall asleep, too)
I had several things, including similar breathing anomalies and a sensation of falling.
In my case, it may have been stress due to the apnea. Even if we are not aware,
this does happen, and stress hormones flood your body.
Keep your fingers crossed; yours might get better too.

I don't have time to verify this with a link, but I had the same worry when I started checking my data because I noticed I had an apnoea at the beginning of every night's sleep. I learned it is normal to hold your breath as you lapse into sleep. You can check this with the techs when you have your sleep study, perhaps.

I don't see how you could do anything intentionally while asleep.

Perhaps, in the scope of lucid dreaming.
{{{I'll check back later to see if THAT takes off!}}}
