I am not going to post charts, though I understand they might assist understanding of this post.
For the first 30 to 90 minutes of my sleep I had been at borderline for SpO2 and then as the evening wore on, I would increase. I would have a couple low SpO2 events in an evening. Also, initially, you could see where I feel asleep, my SpO2 would drop and then recover.
I increased my pressure from 8 to 9. Someone on this forum suggested increments and I thought that was a good idea and I didn't go to 10.
The first night my chip wasn't in properly, but I did feel much better the next day.
The second night my chip was in properly and I was able to review my SpO2.
The SpO2 was now clearly above the red line and not at the red line or even below it. During the night I didn't have any low SpO2 events flagged by the machine. (Hypoapneas, but unclassified). Additionally the low SpO2 dips seen while initially falling asleep seemed to be less in magnitude.
This is a sample size of N = 1, one night, so it might be that I was lucky, so I am going to review the next week before making any major conclusions.
I choose 9 so I would see if there was an effect, 8.5 might not have shown an effect, but I also didn't go to 10 since that might introduce other complications.
Increased pressure, Sp02 improved, feel better

Re: Increased pressure, Sp02 improved, feel better
2nd night the increased pressure is also working.
Interestingly enough I am finding that my SpO2 is high before I fall asleep and then drops and then comes up when I fall asleep.
