RemStar Pro M wont exit setup menu and blow air

I have a Rem Star Pro M V 2.12. It would not blow air tonight and I kept touching the on button, probably 2 many times as I was getting upset. Lifting the lid I see the setup menu displayed. I powered down for 2 hours, and still the menu reappears ... need to sleep .. anyone have suggestions how to get out of the setup menu and get this thing working ... I've had it 5 years or so, works great until tonight.
