New to apap

Post by alpha752 » Mon Apr 07, 2014 4:14 pm

So, I finally got rid of my brick, and got a PR 560 APAP off of a kind seller on here. Tonight will be my first night with it. I was prescribed 12cm h2o CPAP, but since my brick didnt tell me anything, I have no idea how or if it was effective. What would be the best way to start with the new machine? Any tips or tricks I should know?

Could you not tell by how you felt whether or not the brick worked, or at least helped?

My recommendation would be (and always has been) to set it up as nearly identical to "the brick" as possible. That way, you may get some idea as to how your previous one was treating you.......when you download and review the data. Until and unless you do that, you really won't know (other than by "how you feel").
