Another update: I am still trying to make the machine work. I got hold of the **service** manual via a helpful user on another board. That board has a member-only section that contains a collection of service manuals. The manual has the following to say about error 1019

The following message is displayed on the LCD: "SYSTEM ERR 1019 Call service!" Cause: Flow sensor fault Action: Replace flow sensor

I have to say I am sceptical that the flow sensor really is broken. It could be a PCB problem or just that the machine notices the flow sensor was disconnected and wants calibration. I have however located the flow sensor (used?) on Amazon for a much more reasonable price than Mouser, about $27 (do a search for AWM 730B5 on Amazon). But then the next problem becomes the calibaration, and that requires Resmed Service Software (Not ResScan, but a dedicated Service Software, does anyone have that??). Also required are the ReslinkS8/"usb2resmed" converter to attach to the breakout connector on the machine, and some pressure and flow measuring external calibration instruments.

For starters, I am looking for the software and a pinout for the breakout connector. Can anyone help? I mostly need just to know how to solder a USB cable onto the breakout connector, I think. And the software, I think it may be called Resmed (Spirit?) Service Software.

So that where I am at the monent. A friend helped me unplug the small white "JST" connector that connects the flow meter cable to the PCB. I will check the voltages there later.
