Why is water in my humidifier

Post by knothead » Mon Mar 31, 2014 7:56 am

This past weekend in the mornings I was finding water in the bottom of my H5i humidifier.(When I took out the tank). Just wondering how & why the water is there. This is the first time it has happened & I did not check it today...yet.
Any one else had this happen...?
Room temp was 72, machine is set at 4.5h & 81t. Like I said this is the first time and the settings have not changed on the machine or room temp. Puzzled...

Someone inadvertently jostled it in passing?

Inadvertently fill just a little past the max level? I had this happen a couple of times and the air blowing over the water blew a little water out of the tank and was in the bottom of the humidifier..also it can blow a little water into the hose and make an awful noise.
I have had this happen with my S9...never with the PR S1 because it pretty much makes a mess you can't miss if you fill it too much.

This is probably what happened, I need to wear my glasses during fill up...lol
No water in hose, just under the tank. I will keep an eye on it...thanks.
