occurrences with a bi-pap vs bi-pap auto

Post by carojae » Sun Mar 23, 2014 4:33 pm

I never liked my mouth mask before, so I got a nose piece to breathe with. This was with the old M series bi-pap plus. I didn't like this mouth piece setup because the pressure would bother my ears; the nose piece fixed that issue.

I recently got a new PR system one Remstar 60 series BiPap auto and am wondering if anyone has any experience of switching back to a mouth piece. If so, did it work better for you or what was your experience (presuming you can relate to my above paragraph)?

*I like the nose piece and new auto machine but I guess I sleep with my mouth open too much because I wake up and my machine is blowing a storm and was thinking maybe a auto machine might be different with concern to a mouth mask..

Any thoughts?
