My sleep doctor just sent me a link to something I have never heard of and certainly never tried. Here is the link she sent me: http://www.circadiance.com/products/
Has anyone tried one of these before? I've been unsuccessfully trying to stop the leaking problems with my new ASV and its higher pressure.
Cheers,
Ken

Yes, lots of forum members here use one model or another of the Circadiance masks. They used to only have nasal masks but now they have released the full face Anew model.

From what I have read..not much middle of the road with the cloth masks....either love it with a passion or hate it with similar passion mainly because of leaks.
At your pressure needs it is likely going to be a challenge but it's not like you don't have a challenge with the other masks.
Only way to know for sure is to try it.
They do offer a free 30 day return/refund though. So if a person hates it..they get their money back.
I have never used one. I put one of their nasal masks over my nose briefly and let's just say it didn't interest me at all.
So I can't say much about it at all since I have no personal experience with them. I have this thing about "stuff" on my face and I knew real quick I wouldn't care for the "stuff" and since I already had any number of other masks that had less "stuff" on the face I didn't pursue it any further. Some things interest me and some don't so I don't bother with stuff that don't interest me.

Re: Cloth Masks?
I use their Anew FFM and love it. However, fitting can be a bit of a problem. I followed the sizing information on the website and initially ordered a large. It leaked like a sieve around my face, so I exchanged it for a medium. The medium still occasionally has a few leaks, but not so many or so large that it causes any problems. I am also a side/stomach sleeper and find that the soft mask allows me to sleep more comfortably since I don't have to worry about managing the hard mask off the side of my pillow. Now, I just bury my face in the pillow and the mask bends to conform.
Also, I was continually having itch problems beneath my hard mask, possibly because the skin was "inaccessible". I find that I don't have as many problems and that I can scratch the itch through the mask.
One final benefit is that the exhaust vents for these masks are tiny little holes on the side of the mask. As a result, there is no gale of air that shots out towards your sleeping partner like so many of the hard masks create.
Of course, fitting masks is a very personal thing and whether this mask would seal on your face is simply something that you would have to try.

Re: Cloth Masks?
I use the Advance. Have two and they are great. I tried the Wisp I was assigned at the DME again the night before last and even with a heated hose it was like trying to sleep with my nose is a bowl of water. The highest leak I have had with the Advance since November is 21. Some have said they don't last long but so far I am fine. I never take it apart just slip it over my head. Also I wash the whole thing at once in a dedicated basin warm water with a dish soap purchased at an organic sort of Co-op.
Have a look on YouTube. Lanky lefty 27 has many mask reviews.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wB19Mvxxl4o this is for the updated Advance with the Zzzyphyr seal.
Also I called Circadiance for help in choosing which of their masks to get and they were very helpful. Masks come with a DVD.

Re: Cloth Masks?
Thanks everyone! That was fast. I'll ask my doc if I can get a scrip for one and try it out.
Cheers,
Ken
