Is this an indication of UARS?
Is this an indication of UARS?
When sleeping on my back I inhale through my nose but exhale through my mouth. I do this even while “going under” and it wakes me up; but sometimes it persist and my wife will tells me that I have done this for about 15 minutes, and then I breath normally. Is my upper air way blocked? This has only started in the last two years. Being on APAP has not changed this. I am wondering if this is an indication of UARS? Would increasing the presure help or a Bipap?

You may need a FFM. What does your leak line look like?
I am not a medical professional and I have no medical training.

Thanks for responding. I am very appreciative. What is FFM and what is "leak line"Therapist wrote:You may need a FFM. What does your leak line look like?
Re: Is this an indication of UARS?
FFM is a full face mask and the leak line is shown in monitoring software like Sleepyhead. You can get an idea of your leak rate looking at the details in your machine.
